Opportunities for Climate Change Action

As long as we're in activist mode here, I also thought I'd pass along several opportunities to engage in and/or support efforts to address climate change.

• Environmental Defense has created two powerful ads on global warming: "Tick" and "Train." View the ads, vote for your favorite, and find out what you can do to help lower our carbon emissions. You can even calculate your personal and household impact.

• Stop Global Warming! has been "virtually marching" for some time now, and I've been remiss in not getting information out sooner. Join the march through the sign-up form on the sidebar, take action, and spread the word.

The pressure is building to address climate change, but we've still got a long ways to go. Join one of these campaigns (or both) and help apply that pressure...

UPDATE: Of course, I should also mention that soon you'll have the opportunity to offset your life... stay tuned.
