No Miracles Here...

Tim at The Future is Green has done a very nice job of keeping on top of the nuclear industry's latest PR offensive. In this post, he responds in detail to news about France's new fusion reactor. In short: If it sounds too good to be true... Tim does a very nice job of dissecting our recent history of energy "saviors," and notes that wind power is likely the most promising form of clean energy production. I'd add that we need to stop thinking in terms of single "miracle" energy sources and start looking at combinations of energy sources based on local and regional needs and resources.
