It's Molly Time!

Thanks to Dad for pointing me a recent Molly Ivins column that looks at the Senate's new energy bill (among other things) in the context of giving away the farm to corporate interests. While there are certainly elements of the energy bill that deserve praise, Molly's absolutely right that this legislation, along with other Washington shenanigans, parallel

...that old television show in which contestants lined up their shopping carts in a grocery store and, on the signal, began running around throwing every valuable item they could find in their carts. Whoever grabbed the most high-priced items won.
