Are You Invested in McDonald's?

Or Wal-Mart? Would you consider either a "socially responsible company?" As I've noted in the past, many "socially responsible" investment opportunities routinely buy into companies like these. BuyBlue.org takes it's own look at SRI, and comes to conclusions similar to those of sustainability guru Paul Hawken -- their post even links to a recent NYT article that addresses this topic and has a picture of Hawken at the top. The article also quotes Amy Domini claiming "I can live with myself for investing in McDonald's." Can those of us who count on socially responsible funds to invest in, you know, socially responsible companies live with it?
