BuzzFlash Promotes Fair Trade
I don't follow progressive news site BuzzFlash as much as I used to, but I was glad to learn today that they're now hosting "Fair Trade Mondays," where they promote Fair Trade coffee as a fundraiser for the site. I've complained before about progressive political sites and blogs ignoring environmental issues, so I'm happy to see that Buzz has made fair trade a part of their weekly round-up.
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who follows BF closer -- do they do more environmental coverage? I kind of burned myself out on political sites after a genuine binge following the 2000 election. I still look at political blogs fairly regularly, especially The Higher Pie and The Blue Voice, but am not nearly the junkie I once was...
