Greening the Kitchen

Whether you're in the middle of nowhere, or in a bustling urban center, simple steps suc as buying local produce (which really doesn't get a mention here -- organics do, though), saving and composting scraps, and sharing excess with neighbors (does anyone ever use a whole container of buttermilk?) can stretch your budget and make for cleaner, greener meals and a more healthy home environment.
