BRC 45: Fourth Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Report Released

I literally just received this in my inbox:
Connecting the dots between environmental changes and the private sector, the fourth Millennium Eco-system Assessment report helps business leaders understand and shape the threats and opportunities that will shape the economies of the future.

James Griffiths of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) commends the newly launched 34-page report, Ecosystems and Human Well-being: Opportunities and Challenges for Business and Industry. Business cannot function if ecosystems and the services they deliver - like water, biodiversity, fiber, food and climate are degraded or out of balance, he says. The report states that two-thirds of the above services are being degraded. "If properly addressed, business will be able to translate the challenges into opportunities", he argues.
Obviously haven't had a chance to read the report itself yet (and I'm not sure I can read right now), but I'm definitely looking forward to this installment.
