Thanks to Paul at Eyeteeth for pointing us to this Observer article about the White House's "[extraordinary] efforts... to scupper Britain's attempts to tackle global warming..." Apparently, Dubya and co. weren't content to just have their own reports doctored -- they wanted to do the same to British reports on global warming in anticipation of the G8 summit. It's easy to have a "science-based" approach to the problem when you've got no problem editing the science to fit your view...
Wanted to get that one up early... I'll be back after my morning constitutional (yikes, I sound like an English professor -- how about "walk in the park...").
