Taking on Climate Change in Class

I posted the other day about the Flat Earth Award without realizing that this site and the awards themselves are a project by a group of students at Middlebury College in Vermont. They conceived of the idea as part of a course on climate change and activism, and took their cue to use humor from Comedy Central's "The Daily Show." As you read the whole article, though, you realize that these students aren't simple jokers; they've clearly got a handle on the issue of climate change itself and it's misrepresentation by the right-wing press.
