"I'm a poster child for a Maine business that can take advantage of the Kyoto agreement," said Paul Nace, president of Maine BioProducts LLC, which is developing a biorefinery in western Maine that uses forest materials to make an additive to increase the performance of biodiesel.
Nace made his comments Thursday at a program to help businesses glimpse the economic potential of global climate change. And the meeting's message was clear: countries that have signed the Kyoto agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions are eager for services and products that favor renewable energy.
