Interface Partners with Brazilian Nonprofit for Reforestation Program

Interface, Inc. is likely the leader in corporate sustainability, and now, according to GreenBiz News, the company has taken another step towards its goal of "show[ing] the entire industrial world what sustainability is in all its dimensions: people, process, product, place and profits - by 2020 - and in doing so ... becom[ing] restorative through the power of influence" by partnering with Florestras de Futura, a Brazilian non-profit, to create CARPETree, a program that will plant one tree in Brazil's "Atlantic Forest for every 25 square meters of commercial carpet products sold." This is double-duty for Interface, of course, since so many of its products are produced from sustainable materials and processes.
