Green Car Congress points us to Indiana's new biofuels law, which "requires state government to fuel state vehicles with agriculture-based fuels, such as biodiesel, ethanol, or gasohol, whenever possible." Clearly, this is a move that's as much about politics as environmental concerns, but it's good to see that more and more Midwestern politicians are realizing the role renewable energy sources can play in economic development, environmental stewardship and keeping the voters happy...
