Hatch Reintroduces CLEAR Act

I can honestly say that I very rarely have anything nice to say about Sen. Orrin Hatch, but I've got to commend him for giving the CLEAR Act another try. According to Green Car Congress, "[t]he CLEAR ACT is designed to lower the cost barriers to implementing alternative fuels and advanced technologies through the use of tax incentives, most of which go directly to the consumer." While Hatch makes reference to hydrogen fuel cells, he also clearly gets it that we have hybrid and alternative fuel technologies now, and supporting these shows genuine commitment to enegy independence and national security.
