A couple of weeks ago, I linked to Chris Clarke's commentary on right-wing smear techniques. Chris was kind enough to pass along a response he'd received, published on the "fair and balanced" Cybercast News Service. Chris notes that author Paul Driessen "rebutted me by repeating the same stuff I'd debunked." -- isn't this just another typical technique? The other stale technique Driessen uses is selective quotation... C'mon, folks, these are serious issues. How about actually engaging in some dialogue rather than smearing us as "radicals," and then misquoting us to "prove" your point? I expect (and usually get) better from my freshman composition students... You can see Chris' own response on his blog.
