Inquiry demanded into wind farm proposals

From Scotsman.com, not everyone is happy about the prospect of a wind farm in the Scottish highlands:
People living near the site of what would be Britain’s highest wind farm are hoping to force a public inquiry to stop it.

Campaigners in Dunmaglass, near Inverness, have stepped up their fight against the proposal by distributing a brochure claiming the turbines could kill up to 11 golden eagles a year...

But Ray Hunter, Scottish wind-farm development manager for RES, said the land was "extremely low ecologically" and an ornithological study found few golden eagles.
