Canadian Eco-Driver

Thanks to Treehugger for pointing me to a new feature in Toronto's Globe and Mail,
a weekly column called Eco-Driver by Dan Proudfoot, covering only automobiles that do better than 30 miles per gallon US, 10 L/100km planet. Quoting the author: "The ultimate test for a car maker, according to Eco Driver's credo, is engineering a car that combines superior fuel efficiency with acceptable practicality and performance- and can be sold at an acceptable price." Well said.
