More on State of Fear

Gristmill's Dave Roberts has both a post on the blog and a review of Michael Crichton's State of Fear up at Grist. Dave's conclusion:

As they say over at the Indispensable RealClimate, consensus shouldn't be the basis of science, but it should be the basis of politics, and what Crichton doing is nothing more or less than politics.

Of course, now I just want to read the book that much more... grrr...
