The Onion's Kenneth Craft has a little fun at the expense of Prius drivers.
On a more serious note, though, how much substance is there to the characterization of those of us promoting sustainability and attempting to live sustainably as yuppie elitists as Craft's satire suggests. Are we so Blue State in our mindset (regardless of our location) that it's hard for Red Staters to begin to understand us? Is it even fair to use that kind of division (obviously, I'm using it as very convenient, but maybe not so accurate, shorthand)?
