Those damned Germans!

Who do they think they are, proving that public-private partnerships on renewable energy can produce a win-win situation? Seriously, though, the Germans are leading the way on renewable development, and showing that renewables benefit the overall economy, too. Of course, it hasn't all been completely rosy -- the German government has increased taxes on oil and gas, which has provoked some backlash.
