I doubt even the most ardent Bush supporter would label the president an "environmentalist"; actual environmentalists are expressing concern over environmental policy of a second Bush term. While these issues barely registered in the presidential campaign, Bush aides are trying to paint his electoral victory as a "mandate" for his environmental (or anti-environmental) agenda.
