Green Las Vegas??

Who'd a thunk it? As a former Las Vegas resident, I certainly wouldn't have thought "Sin City" was capable of thinking green, not with its "more, bigger" worldview. But, according to this article from the RMI Solutions newsletter (via SustainableBusiness.com), Vegas is looking seriously at its patterns of consumption and rapid resource depletion even as people continue to flood in. I remember hearing that the Las Vegas Valley could run out of water by 2010 at current comsumption rates several years ago, so it's clearly time to start thinking about reducing waste and conserving this and other precious resources.
