Hydrogen isn't the answer now

Read David Morris's critique of the "hydrogen economy" yesterday in Utne, which was reprinted from Alternet, and now find it reprinted on Commondreams from the Minneapolis Star Tribune. This is important not because it dismisses hydrogen as an alternative fuel source (it doesn't), but simply points out that the technology is still a ways off. In the meantime, we do have technologies like hybrid vehicles and biodiesel, which have been largely dismissed by the money folks in Washington.
